Random Rant

I get on Twitter this morning after breakfast, and someone retweeted this statement on my timeline:

“DarkSkinned girls are born fighters. They fight men. LightSkinned girls had to learn how to fight because of jealousy.”

-_______-  First of all, that is the most ignorant shit (excuse my language) I have ever read in my life!  Sad to say, but everyday I get on Twitter I see numerous stereotypical and untrue statements about dark-skinned women, and it is ridiculous!  Half of the things that are argued between light-skin and dark-skin have NOTHING to do with skin tone in the first place.  We (African Americans as a whole) are always complaining about racism between whites and blacks, yet we make racism WITHIN our own race through comments like that.  Light-skinned (white & superior) and dark-skinned (black & inferior). Why must we divide ourselves?  This does nothing but instill the same garbage “the white man” has always wanted us to think, that white skin with straight hair is superior and black skin with kinky hair is dreadful and inferior. This cycle of thinking needs to be broken!!!

“no touch” rule when it comes to our hair needs to die a slow death! I love when my King plays in my locs, it is a very supreme feeling for the both of us. Sexually and mentally. My Queens have always been taught that, in its natural state, our hair is not beautiful. So some will hide behind weaves and wigs and relaxers, putting a barriers between our scalps and the hands of your King.
When he plays in your hair, and touches your scalp. This will definitely reassures you that he loves every thing about you. This will help you developing a level of confidence with him. A black women’s scalps are tried of lacking attention. Your hair is thirsty for love, too.
